Mary Beth Miles

Mary Beth Miles is the co-owner and CEO of Vacation Rental Collective (VRC), the largest privately owned and locally operated vacation rental company in Southwest Colorado. As CEO, she sets VRC’s strategic direction, leads mergers and acquisitions, drives market expansion, and oversees quality assurance.

A Creede native, Mary Beth grew up exploring the San Juan Mountains, developing a deep appreciation for the region’s culture, geology, and history. During her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, she interned with Mountain Studies Institute (MSI), focusing on abandoned mine land reclamation in the Silverton area. Now serving on MSI’s board, she is honored to give back to the organization that nurtured her passion for reclamation, the outdoors, and the communities that benefit from this work.

Before joining VRC, Mary Beth spent a decade in local government management and municipal governance. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Science and Geography (with a focus on hydrogeology) from CU Boulder and an M.A. in Political Science and Public Administration from CU Denver.

In her free time, she enjoys trail running, mountain biking, camping, fly fishing, and exploring Colorado’s great outdoors with her husband, Sean, and their dog, Eddi.
